CompTIA A+ Practical Application is an extension of the knowledge and skills identified in CompTIA A+ Essentials, with more of a "hands-on" orientation focused on scenarios in which troubleshooting and tools must be applied to resolve problems.

The CompTIA A+ course provides the knowledge and skills needed to pursue a job as an A+ technician. This course will help you understand the fundamentals of computer technology, networking, security, and gain the skills required to identify hardware, peripherals, networking, and security components. This course will also help you gain skills required to install, configure, troubleshoot, upgrade, and maintain PC workstations, the Windows OS and SOHO networks.

The CompTIA A+ certification validates the ability to perform tasks such as installation, configuration, diagnosing, preventive maintenance and basic networking. The exams also cover domains such as security, safety and environmental issues.
