HCDP Course

HCDP (Huawei Certified Datacom Professional) Training Course is an intermediate level certification, available for IP network commissioning engineers, IP network O&M engineers, IP network design engineers and interested professionals who intend to gain a comprehensive and extensive proficiency of related technologies in routing, switching and access control in enterprise IP networks.

 

The HCDP-Enterprise IP Training Course includes 3 subjects:

·         HCDP-IERN (Huawei Certified Datacom Professional- Implementing Enterprise Routing Network) Training

Target Audience

This program is intended for those who are to be certified by the HCDP-IERN exam and those who hope to grasp advanced knowledge of IP routing technologies, the features of Huawei high-end and middle-end routers, and the design of IP routing network.

Prerequisites

  • Be familiar with IPv4 classified IP, classless IP and IP subnetting
  • Be familiar with router and switch working principle
  • Knowledge about static route principle and configuration

Objectives

  • On completion of this program, the participants will be able to:
  • Tell the working principle of OSPF, BGP, PIM-SM, PIM-DM.
  • Configure OSPF in VRP to implement IP connectivity in large scale IP network.
  • Configure BGP in VRP and use BGP route attributes and route policy to choose and filter routes in large scale IP network.
  • Describe the basic principle of BGP RR and BGP Confederation.
  • Describe the basic concepts and application scenario of BGP multi-homing.
  • Configure IGMP in VRP to implement multicast service.
  • Choose appropriate Huawei high and middle end routers in large scale IP network deployment according to the performance and service requirements.
  • Locate and remove routing problems in large scale IP network.

·         HCDP-IESN (Huawei Certified Datacom Professional- Implementing Enterprise Switching Network) Training

Target Audience

This program is intended for those who are to be certified by HCDP-IESN exam and those who hope to grasp advanced knowledge of Ethernet and switching technologies, the features of Huawei high-end and middle-end switches, access and authentication technologies, and the design and maintenance of large-scale switching network.

Prerequisites

  • Familiarity with IPv4 address, classified IP, classless IP and the subnet planning
  • Knowledge about the basic working principle and configuration of switches
  • Knowledge about routing principle and static route
  • Knowledge about some dynamic routing protocol principles and basic configuration

Objectives

  • On completion of this program, the participants will be able to:
  • Tell the working principle of VLAN, GVRP, QinQ, STP, RSTP, MSTP, DHCP, 802.1x.
  • Configure VLAN, GVRP, QinQ, STP, RSTP, MSTP, DHCP, 802.1x in VRP.
  • Tell the principle of MPLS, MPLS BGP VPN.
  • Configure MPLS, MPLS BGP VPN in VRP.
  • Apply VLAN, GVRP, 802.1x to access network to implement user isolation and service transportation.
  • Apply STP, RSTP, MSTP in access network to avoid loop.
  • Perform the troubleshooting about VLAN, GVRP, RSTP, MSTP, DHCP, 802.1 x in switching network.

·         HCDP-IENP (Huawei Certified Datacom Professional- Improving Enterprise Network Performance) Training

Target Audience

This program is intended for those who are to be certified by the HCDP-IENP exam and those who hope to grasp knowledge of network security, high availability and IP QoS technologies.

Prerequisites

  • Knowledge about IPv4 routing protocols and configuration

Objectives

  • On completion of this program, the participants will be able to:
  • Tell the features and performance of IP network.
  • Tell the the principle and features of huawei firewall product.
  • Describe the principle of some HA technologies.
  • Tell the principle and feature of IP QoS.
  • Configure security service in VRP.
