Course Overview
This course will prepare IT professionals for the role of Enterprise Administrator. This course provides to teach Active Directory Technology Specialists with the knowledge and skills to configure Active Directory Domain Services in a distributed environment, implement Group Policies, perform backup and restore, and monitor and troubleshoot Active Directory related issues. The course provides students with the knowledge and skills to configure and troubleshoot a Windows Sever 2008 network infrastructure. Students will learn to install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot an Internet Information Services (IIS) 7.0 Web Server in Windows Server 2008, how to design application infrastructure solutions based on Windows Server 2008 to meet varying business and technical requirements, how to install, upgrade, and migrate to Windows 7 client. Students then configure Windows 7 client for network connectivity, security, maintenance, and mobile computing.

The primary audience for this course is IT professionals (including Windows 2000/2003 enterprise administrators) interested in becoming a Windows Server 2008 Enterprise Administrator with a focus on application infrastructure such as Web and Terminal Services.
The secondary audience for this course is Application Architects who want to know more about how to integrate Windows Server 2008 technologies into enterprise applications.
